The opportunity to quite literally drive into the storm started as a fever dream from a few of the team members but we proved that it could be done. And this now allows us to gather even more important data — and as we always say, you can never have too much data!

drbarbie: we were hitting bumps in the research process and as we were brainstorming ideas on how to fix it someone said that the easiest way was to…just go into the tornado. We said “bet” then figured out a way to allow us to do that safely!

teammember1: so I’m switching vehicles. I’m staying with the weather van from now on

drbarbie: oh it wasn’t that bad!

teammember1: I have about 200 new strands of grey hairs and a sore throat from all the screaming

drbarbie: like I said! Not that bad

Charles had just finished a grueling day of training at the Austin Circuit. While resting in the comfort of his part of the Ferrari garage, he decided to relax by browsing his social networks. Little did he know that a video was about to capture his attention and turn his evening into a whirlwind of excitement.

While Charles was absentmindedly scrolling through Instagram, he came across a post from his girlfriend, Y/N. The title intrigued him: "Had a great time on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon 🌟 Showdown #Mixtape Medley." Charles clicked on the video link and his eyes widened as Y/N's familiar face appeared on the screen.

The video showed Y/N on stage, facing off against Kelly Clarkson in a friendly competition called Mixtape Medley. Jimmy Fallon, with his characteristic charisma, introduced the contestants and generated expectation. The crowd cheered as the focus shifted between the singers, their voices weaving through the air as they .

To Charles' amazement, Y/N's performance was nothing short of spectacular. Her voice resonated with a power and emotion that captivated the audience, singing songs by Cher, Celine Dion among other great artists. The tension in the room reached its climax when the winner was announced and, to the surprise of no one (except, perhaps, Charles himself), Y/N emerged victorious, earning a standing ovation from the audience along with one from Kelly and Jimmy.

Overwhelmed with pride, Charles couldn't contain his excitement. He immediately grabbed his phone and called Y/N, who was still buzzing with adrenaline from the show.

"Hey, Charlie!" she answered, her voice filled with joy.

"My love!, that was incredible! I can't believe you won! You were amazing! I'm so so proud of you, I can't stop watching the video!" Charles exclaimed, his enthusiasm contagious.

Laughing, Y/N replied, "I'm so glad you enjoyed it, babe. It was such a fun experience.I didn't think I was going to win!"

Unable to contain his excitement, Charles decided to share the news with his mates. He ran to his close friend Sebastian Vettel's room and walked through the door with a smile on his face.

"Seb! You won't believe what just happened! Y/N was on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, and she won a singing contest!" Charles exclaimed, barely pausing for breath.

Sebastian, amused by Charles' animated demeanor, replied, "Really? That's fantastic! I didn't know she could sing like that. You must be a proud boyfriend."

"Oh, I am! You have no idea. I've been watching the video on repeat. She was phenomenal!" Charles gushed.

Word quickly spread through the paddock about Y/N's triumph, and soon, other drivers were joining the conversation. Lewis Hamilton, Max Verstappen, and Daniel Ricciardo were all eager to congratulate Charles on his talented girlfriend.

The atmosphere in the paddock transformed into a celebration, with the drivers watching videos of Y/N's concert that Charles had taken, and one or another of them making fun of him when they heard comments from him towards his girlfriend.

As the night wore on, Charles couldn't help but revel in the unexpected joy that Y/N's performance had brought to the Formula 1 community and how very proud he was to have that girl as his girlfriend and to be able to call her his.

a/n : i am totally comfortable with writing stuff like this! almost anything you guys would like to see, i will be more that happy to write it for you! (i am so sorry this sucks, it was insanely rushed. also sorry for not posting it when i said i would.)

i had a bad relationship with food ever since middle school, thinking i was different because of the slightest pudge. and that stuck with me all the way to now, comparing myself to instagram models as if i had zero idea they were edited.

chris knew of my thoughts, and he was always the one to distract me from them and let me run.

i had been in one of those episodes of skipping meals, just downing bottles of water to suppress the grumbling that my stomach produced.

chris realized the absurd increase of water i was consuming and found the sandwich matt got me hidden away in the back of the refrigerator. that's when he took it upon himself to take action.

he shuffled around the kitchen preparing something i would possibly eat. the only thing he was able to come up with was buttery pasta, something easy to face.

he came waddling up the stairs with a small bowl in hand, to not scare me with the portions. "y/n/n," he said in a singsong voice as he walked into the room.

"whatt," i responded, marking the place in my book to flip onto my back and face him. "do you want some of my pasta?" he politely smiled, attempting to make himself less suspicious as he sat down next to me on the bed.

"i'm fine, i'm not hungry," i said softly, sitting up to place a kiss on his nose, "thank you though." chris was visibly hurt, "i know you didn't eat the sandwich matt got you," he said.

i became defensive, "what? i did!" i lied. "no you didn't, you stashed it in the back of the fridge," he spoke gently.

a lump had climbed its way into my throat, forcing tears to form. "hey, hey, hey, no no no no," chris said frantically, placing the bowl on the nightstand and wiping my tears.

"i'm sorry chris," i cried, leaning into his chest while his arms wrapped around me. "you're okay baby, i know it's hard for you," he whispered into my hair.

"can you at least try to eat a little bit of this?" he asked, picking up the bowl. i stared at the bowl and then looked at him.

"can you eat it with me?" i asked, looking into his deep blue eyes. "of course baby," he said, "be right back," as he ran downstairs to get himself a bowl.

when he came back, we both had pasta wrapped around our forks as he sat across from me. he counted us down before we both took the forks into our mouths.

he smiled at me as i put the fork back into the bowl and opened my mouth to show him it was gone. "you did it!" he cheered, "see wasn't so bad was it?"

i shook my head as he cradled my face with both his hands, "i am so proud of you," he smiled, leaning in to gently give me a buttery kiss.

I had a nice day today, so I wanted to post abt it!!

To-do list for today:

Go to the library ✅ picked up a book for my chemistry competition

Study for my chemistry test tmrw ✅ I have been studying for it for almost a week, and I honestly don't feel very good about it, but I know I studied hard so it should be ok

Study for my physics test on Friday ✅ only a bit, but it still counts!

Play the piano ✅

Grocery shopping ✅ bought some great protein bars

Finish my social studies assignment ✅ I am honestly kind of proud about how I did it, I actually took a lot of time to make it great

Do my German hw ✅

Exercise ❎ I thought i would be alone in my room, but my stepsister was here today lmao so I didn't want to exercise in front of her

I can honestly say I didn't waste any of my time today. Usually I go on Instagram for an hour and then complain I don't have enough time, but not today. I got home, went straight to studying, then played the piano as a break, then went back to studying, then had my piano lesson (where I kind of slayed ngl), got home, went back to studying and then we celebrated my mom's birthday, and then went straight to studying.

I also beat my anxiety and wore a bit of make up to school today! I know it's normal, but I honestly feel like lipstick on a pig whenever I wear even the slightest amount, but I wore some corrector, eye pencil and a tinted lip balm, and the girls in my class said i looked great 🥹🫶🏻

Is it ok to color in some of the coloring book pages in as if I were coloring in a picture of an OC since the design reminds me of an OC as long as I don't try to pass off the coloring book picture as my own art?

Of course! The coloring book is yours to do whatever you’d like with it. Be as creative as you want, get inspired, change things, add things, cut them all out for paper dolls, it’s YOURS. If you want to post about it online I certainly won’t say no to free advertising, but it is a coloring book, I only did step 1 and each and every one of you are free to add all the magic to it. Want to make everyone space aliens? Have a blast. Want to add swirls to every dress design? I hope you have the best zen doodle session ever. Want to make them into OCs and scrapbook them into your world building journal? I love it, knock yourself out. (Idiom)

I am a one person operation, I couldn’t exist without you guys cheering me on and I really appreciate how much you all have supported me over the last 3/4 years. In many ways the coloring book is a culmination of those years of hard work and growth for me as an artist that I published specifically so I could share them with you all. Its function is to be a springboard for anyone to create fashion/character related art with, and at the end of the day it is a product. I count myself lucky copies of it have been purchased at all, the royalties have made a world of difference to my financial situation and I’m pleased as punch that my art can inspire people the way so many coloring books did for me. Sure I would not recommend anyone trying to copyright any of the pages or sell them to anybody as original work, that would be disastrous, but I also am very sure that’s not what you meant. So color away, do me proud, get creative, I’m so happy the illustrations inspired you.

You immediately blocked her number, blocked her on everything you could think of, hell you found her Gmail and blocked it. How could you be so stupid. Of course she wasn’t a one girl girl, of course she was just fucking with you, but why. You really thought you guys had something how could someone fake that. You were hungry and realized when you stormed out of your apartment you had forgotten your wallet. You wanted to go back and you had hoped that Julien had enough self preservation to not still be there. You came up with a whole plan in your head on what you would do if she was still in there. You would act all unbothered and nonchalant barely even address her. You opened up your apartment door and didn’t see anyone. You poked your head into the bedroom and saw the bed made and no one there. She was gone. You grabbed some stuff and went to the gym to try to get your head right. You blasted “Down Bad” by Taylor Swift and then the rest of your music shuffled. It wasn’t helpful when a Julien Baker song came on. “Hell no she’s not getting my 3 ¢” you angrily thought as you skipped the song.

You had never felt this way before after ghosting someone or having another spark fizzle out. Hell you guys had been dating for just over a month why were you feeling this way. You weren’t dumb. You knew why in the back of your head. You had started the process of falling for this girl, and to have her break your heart, it hurt you. But you almost felt a little proud of yourself, you opened up a bit, a minuscule amount, and you knew this wasn’t your fault.

Your phone buzzed and you assumed it wa your best friend, Georgia, who you had just told what happened but it was actually Phoebe. She texted “y/n I heard what happened I’m really sorry can we talk.”

You had nothing against Phoebe, Julien’s actions weren’t her fault and you didn’t want her to feel awkward or like you two had any bad blood so you responded “yeah, I have a packed day today but tomorrow?” You didn’t actually have plans today you just didn’t really wanna see anyone no matter who it was.

But you two make plans to see eachother for lunch the next day and you continue trying to work through your feelings. You actually allow yourself to process and it makes you kinda feel better.

The next day as 1pm rolls around you go over to the cafe and see the white haired girl sitting at a counter. “Pheebs!” You smile and wave.

As you get a couple feet away from her she stands and says “(y/n hey! Please don’t hate me” she then steps to the side and darts away. You clench your jaw as you see the person behind her. Julien.

“Are you fu-“ you exclaim.

“Please please please let me explain.” She begs.

“I got the idea looking at those DMs.” You snap.

“No you really didn’t” she insists.

“Fine whatever speak.” You sit glaring at her.

“Ok thank you” she smiles “Maria is my ex. I broke up with her more than a year ago but she’s wanted me back ever since. She cheated on me so obviously I would never. She’s been texting me a lot more frequently as of recent probably because like one of our mutual friends must’ve told her about us. I blocked her on messages that’s why she was instagram DMing me. I saw her three days ago, not to hookup but to give her a very very firm talking to and just being like stay out of my life. Because I knew I was gonna ask you to be my gf. I probably should’ve told you about it but I didn’t want something to come out of nothing. I also should’ve blocked her there, but I didn’t think she was crazy enough to keep going after I talked to her. I’m sorry and I clearly see how you interpreted it that way after seeing those DMs.” She finishes and sighs.

Oh My God.

“I am an asshole.” You say bluntly. Julien also hands you her phone so you can scroll through their texts. She’s telling the truth. “Wow I am a literal psycho.” You say.

“Hey hey no you were just doing the best you could with the information you had.” She assures you.

“I never gave you a chance to explain, it’s just i never let myself get close to people, never even get in relationships cause im scared to get hurt and i was super on edge cause I really opened up to you and then I didn’t really think logically but I promise you I’m not crazy like that.” You offer her a smile.

“I know you’re not crazy and I really appreciate you opening up to me.” She says.

“I should’ve let you explain god, I feel so stupid.”

“Well in your defense I should’ve explained who Maria was at least long before this happened and communicated everything better.” She says.

“I guess we know we both need to work on different aspects of communication.” You softly say.

“Will you have me again?” She shyly smiles.

“The better question is will you have me.” You laugh.

“10000%” she smiles.

This conversation is the beginning of your and Julien’s beautiful relationship where you both heal from your pasts and communicate better! Huzzah!!! (can you tell I don’t know how to write endings)

BUM BUM ENERGY DRINK : immediately : 1) loooove the name. 2) the blurb on their website is hilarious. "The production experience and market knowledge we have gained from shipping 1 billion of our own branded Energy drinks to almost a 100 countries for the last 20 years had given us an incredible understanding of market needs and those of our clients." [Note: every number is emphasized in bold+red] Why does this sound so finance instabro coded?? It also sounds like a speech you give to potential investors and definitely NOT customers but ok!!!! I'd love to be on board! But unfortunately... all that production experience and market knowledge for THAT?? How?? This is definitely not meeting my needs as a customer. They dare talk about "BUM BUM ATRIBUTES [sic]".... But the B12 amount is abysmal+laughable+pathetic. What am I gonna do with 8% of my daily dose? Keel over and die? Because of how b12 deficient I am thanks to Bum bum? And there's nothing to be proud of when it comes to B6 either..

Now for the taste: it is SO sweet. Like candies melted in a can. Probably because there's 11g of sugar for 100ml? That definitely ranks bum bum up there among the most sugary energy drinks I've tried. It's also extremely sour so it really gives you that AAAHHHH reaction typical of too strong energy drinks. It's not carbonated enough, but we almost didn't notice it because of how intense it was. It's a very small can but it was already too much. It still made me laugh and was drinkable, so for those beautiful BUM BUM ATRIBUTES, I give it 2/5 stars.

That's my interpretation..

I'll talk about spoilers so read at your own discretion.

To start:

I had forgotten completely that RM already performed it at one of the D-Day last shows.

So I got the experience of hearing it for the first time twice.

I consider that a bonus!

But let's get to the important part:

The day it was released I barely woke up and rushed to watch the video.

We knew it was in Letterbox (it's a movie rating platform, really cool) so the cinematography wasn't really a surprise.

I just checked and they took it out of letterbox 😭

What caught me off guard was the total absence of rapping.

I always rooted for RM to find his singing voice, but that certain part just HITS the spot.

Wow.

And the GENRE?? I wasn't expecting it at all.

It has a bit of folk with the whistle and the talking-singing, along with the chorus sounds very R&B.

Not only he is singing a whole song by himself for the first time, but he is experimenting with the genre too!!!

Hallelujah.

Major indie vibes.

And the lyrics hit me so hard too.

I forgot the hour. I don't wanna know 'bout the hour. I forgot to shower. Even washing my face seems like a waste of time.

In case you don't know, this is depression.

It was very bold and brave of him to talk so openly about it like this, thank you Joonie.

You keep making us proud.

If I ever doubted about the members ability to grow artistically, now I'm a believer.

The MV:

It's cinematic, it's moody, it's confusing, it's DIFFERENT.

We see RM going through different scenes where he's role changes with the room he enters.

The colors change, the light changes, the clothes change.

In the beginning we see him in a party looking apathetic.

Disconnected.

A drunk man offers him a cigarette twice and he refuses (which reminds me of that one picture that was posted on Instagram).

We see him walk in and out of rooms looking confused.

In one of the rooms, he is even in a baby bed! Probably my favorite part.

Do you see something familiar?

Eventually he comes across a young woman that seems to be another version of him.

From then on, he looks changed, at ease.

He looks like he's finally the

right person in the right place

A friend having fun at the party.

A husband brushing teeth with his family.

A baby playing with his parents

And a boyfriend talking to a girlfriend.

I think this MV could have a lot of different meanings.

But the feeling like an outsider and running around, the apathetic look, the being misunderstood (in the fight with his girl) and then finally smiling and going back at peace....

It seems like making peace with the past, making peace with the old self.

It's ok to disappoint people sometimes.

The scene as a baby in the crib with the parents, the scene with the angry girlfriend made me think about that. Read expectations and disappointment.

"My kid will be this, my kid will do that"

"You promised this, you lied about that"

It might take time for us to understand life and ourselves, but when we are finally ready for it is liberating.

You don't have to be, you don't have to be the anything you see

He was free to simply be a baby for his parents.

The present is the party, he's thinking about his childhood and past (and future?) relationship but he's not living in the moment, at least he wasn't in the beginning.

I am rewatching Suchwita and RM says that his dream is to live more in the moment:

While interviewing Jin, Suga also brought back a conversation between him and Jin that happened while they were recording the first In The Soup:

Those are obvious things, in theory it's easy to understand. But when it comes to real life it's just different.

Without being careful we get caught up in moments, regrets, feeling overwhelmed.

The girl he meets in the end could represent many things: himself, his inner peace, happiness, army or spring.

As he mentions in the lyrics:

spring always been here, I will sleep in her eyes

That scene represents meeting a good friend, having a laugh, letting the weight off your shoulders.

And I just noticed the sunlight moving in the room representing the passage of time, interesting. That could mean how we lose track of time when with the right people, but it could also mean something else that I don't know.

He might be referencing Army, as spring day is such a loved song in the fandom.

What makes me think he might be talking about army is the lyrics too.

You are my pain, divine.

We know this life, although very beautiful, isn't always easy to BTS.

Along with all the prizes and support comes expectations.

I like to think this could be Namjoon making peace with his love for music, army and fame.

I see you come back to me.

That's what I could think on my own.

The references

I saw armys pointing there were references to the other members in the video:

The video starts in a party with people drinking - Jimin (Like Crazy)

Namjoon is sitting beside a couple kissing - V (Friends)

He enters a room where his girlfriend is mad at him - JK (Seven)

There was also this theme of doors representing a different reality, and I guess this is very on brand with BTS as their logo represents a door. Yoongi also used a door in his Amygdala MV. The final door he passes also has a purple shine for a second.

All in all, I love the MV.

Once again RM is flexing his sexy brain in his art for our delight.
